Comparisons between satellite data and ground-based total ozone are routinely performed for all ground-based stations submitting data to the World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Center (WOUDC), of the World Meteorological Organization, (WMO), Global Atmosphere Watch, (GAW). 

For the needs of the Quality Assurance and Continuous Validation of the operational satellite products only a subset of these stations are used and presented in the open-access site found here. The registered user will have access to comparisons from all availiable ground-based stations in the WOUDC database.
